Overview

PM Group wish to recruit a self-starter SP3D Administrator for a role reporting to the BIM Department Manager in our Cork Office. The successful candidate will join our team in the Cork office supporting projects across our network of offices and can be based in any of these offices. In summary the role is to provide administrative support primarily for the piping group, in a live projects environment, with multiple disciplines, across multiple locations. The candidate will also play a major role in the implementation of our BIM strategy.
Responsibilities

  • Set up and administration of multi-discipline detailed design projects using SP3D and other 3D tools.
  • Provide training for SP3D piping applications
  • MS Access experience for support compiling report data.
  • Activities include
    • Define and apply security groups’ permissions
    • Define Systems Hierarchy
    • Load Systems from SPPID
    • Load and configure SDB H&S
    • Setup S3D label data Prepare and load Piping Specs
    • Prepare and load SP Items
    • Prepare and load Instruments
    • Build required CaXperts 3D Symbols as required
    • Configure Isogen Configuration
    • Setup SPR Export report
    • Setup DGN Export report
    • Setup 3D Reference models
    • Configure Iso Control MDB
    • Configure MTO MDB
    • Setup CaXperts reports

Qualifications

  • A third level qualification in a relevant discipline
  • SP3D experience on SP3D administration
  • Strong facilitation, analytical and design skills – problem solver
  • Have the ability to prioritize and organise support activities and deliver multiple tasks
  • Personable, confident with excellent communication skills
  • Experience of other BIM packages advantageous.
  • Oracle DB Experience advantageous.
  • Visual Basic DB Experience advantageous
  • SPF integration experience advantageous.
